Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles

Set for release tomorrow on the Nintendo Wii is Capcom’s long awaited “Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles” — taking place “from the first person as your characters move through a fully 3D mansion.” Video after the break. Click here for more pictures.

There’s also a lot more encouragement of blasting the environments – there are Umbrella logo pick-ups that’ll open up more of the story and unlock hidden items , but you’ll only find them if you shoot things that weren’t really meant to be blasted with a gun. Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles looks pretty great on the Wii with tons of destructible items and cool, detailed models of zombies and other critters

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles for the Wii “reveals the back story behind the fall of the Umbrella Corporation by exploring locations from past Resident Evil 0, 1, 2 and 3 as well as new never-before-seen locations, such as Umbrella’s stronghold.” Video after the break. Using the Wiimote, you take aim at enemies and fire away. Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles combines first-person, light-gun style combat with interactive pathways, multiple weapons and new enemies to create an entirely new Resident Evil experience that could only be delivered on the Wii
