Current Xbox 360s uses ATI (now owned by AMD) graphic chips and the PlayStation 3 uses a custom Nvidia chip. In comparison, Nintendo’s Wii U graphics is said to be very similar the Xbox 360’s.

Microsoft was supposed to release their latest Xbox update to the masses yesterday at approximately 10am EST, but things didn’t go quite as planned and many users are still waiting to try out all the new features. Larry Hyrb, a member of the Xbox team, started tweeting shortly before then to say that the update was being delayed; no reason was stated. As of 3 p.m. ET, the update had still not gone live. Hyrb has been updating his Twitter feed throughout the day, assuring followers that the team is working on it and to expect more news in the afternoon (Pacific time) on when the updates would officially start rolling out.
