The XPeng G9 SUV made its debut last week at the 2021 international Auto Guangzhou show in China, and it comes equipped with the high-performance compute of NVIDIA DRIVE Orin to deliver AI capabilities that are continuously upgraded with each over-the-air update. Not only does this vehicle boast the company’s centralized electronic architecture and Xpilot 4.0 advanced driver assistance system for a seamless driving experience, but it’s also compatible with the next-generation “X-Power” superchargers providing charge for up to 124 miles in 5 minutes.
XPeng-backed HT Aero announced that they have successfully raised over $500-milllion in a Series A financing round that will see funds being used to develop flying cars. Their latest-generation model is claimed to be a fully integrated flying vehicle and automobile, designed for both low-altitude air travel as well as road driving. An official roll-out is expected to happen some time in 2024.
