Set for release in theaters on September 20, Transformers One is essentially the origin story, set on Cybertron, of how Orion Pax and D-16 became Optimus Prime and Megatron. The story will revolve around how these brothers turn into archenemies, along with the foundations of the factions they will lead and come into conflict as Autobots and Decepticons.
The first fully CG-animated Transformers movie features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth (Orion Pax / Optimus Prime), Brian Tyree Henry (D-16), Scarlett Johansson (Elita-1), Keegan-Michael Key (Bumblebee), Steve Buscemi , with Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm. Steven Spielberg is executive producing “Transformers One” with Josh Cooley (Toy Story 4) directing.
