“Once the battery is depleted, the electric motor automatically switches off and disconnects from the free-wheel hub in the rear wheel allowing the rider to travel by foot power. The battery can be recharged when the scooter is on the move by means of brake energy recuperation. A charging socket allows riders to charge their phones as well,” reports Car Scoops.
