I use an Alphagrip and swear by it. No more reaching, no more sitting at a desk to work. And after twenty+ years of full-time programming, at last I can touch-type; and without needing tedious lessons! The real power of the thing is that you never have to change your overall hand positions. Sure, you move both hands around all the time while typing, but fluidly & variably, thus avoiding RSI. And all while relaxing comfortably back in your seat with NO neck or shoulder tension. Blinking marvellous. The only potential drawback is an obvious one: it occupies BOTH hands. That's OK too: when I decide to smoke a cig, that just means it's time to put the AG back onto its stand and do more thinking.
