(Video) Microsoft's Digital Ice House

Microsoft recently built a "Digital House" made completely of ice -- aside from the computers -- in Toronto, Canada to promote Windows Vista. Check out a video after the jump.

It's cool, the concept same like the Aero Interface in Vista, really cool!

Yeah I was there it was pretty cool, they were doing draws every 30 minutes handing out free prizes too! They made the common rooms of a house, and made all the furniture, books, appliances, just about everything that isn't a computer or tv out of ice. There WAS a real fridge in there though. Though I don't think the kitchen MS rep got my joke when I couldn't find a "Microsoft Ham-Sandwich 2007" in the fridge.

Iam not specefic a mac fan, but this would seriusly look ten times cooler with some white and silver mac's inside. The big ugly computers and screens really ruin the buitiful ice.

Prone to freezing? Pointless transparency effect? Extremely expensive, and for no real benefit? Likely to be totally worthless in six months? Interesting to look at, but uncomfortable to live with? That house sounds like the perfect ad for Vista, all right.
