Beautiful logo, I would definitely consider that Web 2.0 style, a much needed update to the outdated version.

Looks great. Could be a little cleaner tho without the shadow. Ignore the digg comments, it looks fantastic.
I blogged about it on http://www.thewebdesignblog.com

DiggSucks
Too bad Digg users are mainly 13 - 17 year olds kiddies who had to keep reporting this story. It was the most interesting one out of all the front pagers. Best of luck to TechEBlog and hopefully many more front pages.

Doesn't look that great by itself, but on a Yahoo page, it blends in nicely. Nice job.

The serifs are a bit heavy and the kerning is too tight.

Have you calculate the picture size in bytes? We have to think about how important a few bytes for a search engines main page... For a gif image a gradient look costs very much. if you use jpg image for letters it would have bad looking.
