Functional 3D-Printed R/C Car
A 3D-printed rocket is one thing, Logan57’s functional 3D-printed R/C car is another. He’s an inventor and student at Collyer’s, a leading sixth form college, in West Sussex and decided upon this project after wanting to stretch his design skills as well as leveraging the capabilities of 3D-printing.

All the parts that were not been 3D-printed can be picked up at any local hobby store, including the brushed DC motor as well as the remote control. Its double-wishbone suspension makes steering a breeze, thanks to a small metal gear servo. One thing Logan57 realized was that there are three things you really need to lubricate with lithium grease: the drive shaft ends, wheel connector and all of gears inside of the gearbox. Functional 3D-Printed R/C Car

I chose an RC car because it offers a perfect canvas for implementing my design ideas and pushing the boundaries of my CAD design and fabrication skills skills. The world of remote-controlled vehicles provides an exciting platform for experimentation and combining mechanical and electrical element,” said Logan57.
