Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was released back in 2020, so it doesn’t quite need a graphical makeover yet. Digital Dreams thought otherwise and wanted to show fans what the game would look like running on a modern system powere by an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card, 32GB of Kingston Fury 6000MHz DDR5 RAM, a Samsung EVO 970 M2 SSD, and a Be Quiet Straight Power PSU.
As you can see, this system can easily run Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in 8K and what appears to be at least 30 fps, although an overlay would be needed to accurately measure framerate. Other than the improved graphics, this title is mostly the same action role-playing game structured around several main story arcs and numerous optional side-missions, called “World Events”.
