
Ever wonder if a hovering drone will get pushed back inside the back of a big truck? If so, then James of The Action Lab has just the experiment for you, as he attempts to fly a drone inside the back of a moving U-Haul truck.
Yes, the drone does gets pushed back inside the back of an accelerating truck because an object at rest will stay at rest unless there’s an outside force on it. Once the truck started moving forward, there is almost no forward force on the drone so it moves the back. To see if this was true for all objects, James then went on to perform the same test using a helium balloon, but with very different results.
