Lockheed Martin’s F-117 Nighthawk was first introduced to the public in 1990, but very few seen the stealth attack aircraft up-close, that is unless you’re aviation enthusiast Paul Stewart. It comes equipped with two extensively modified, non-afterburning General Electric F404 turbofan engines that somewhat resemble a turbojet.
The F-117 can be refueled in the air and features a V-tail, boasting a maximum speed of 623 mph at high altitude, while its max rate of climb is 2,820 feet per minute, operating at a 45,000-feet service ceiling. Step inside the cockpit, and you’ll find it to be quite spacious, with ergonomic displays and controls. However, the field of view was somewhat obstructed due to a large blind spot to the rear.
