Finally, a working SMACH Z prototype has been demonstrated on video. Originally slated for release in 2018, this handheld PC is now powered by an AMD Ryzen Embedded V1000 processor instead of the planned AMD Merlin Falcon RX-421BD, complete with LTE connectivity. How much will one of these cost? Well, it’s being offered in Smach Z ($699), Smach Z Pro ($899), and Smach Z Ultra ($1,099) models, running either Windows 10 or SMACH OS (Linux), with up to 8GB of RAM.
The more storage you have, the more content you can store on your handheld device. This content includes games, apps, photos, music or movies. If you have a massive games library, there’s also the option of using SD cards to bring your games everywhere. As for RAM, most of the current games require 4GB.
