AYANEO 3, the self-proclaimed world’s first modular handheld gaming PC, has officially launched, and is priced from a reasonable $704 USD. You can select from either a 144Hz OLED (800 nits) or a 120Hz IPS LCD (500 nits) screen-equipped model, but both are compatible with the “Magic Module” add-on kit that includes swappable controllers, additional buttons, touchpads, as well as other functions.
The base model features an AMD Ryzen 8840U processor, 16GB of LPDDR5x-7500 RAM, a 512GB PCIe 4.0 (M.2 2280) SSD, an OCuLink (64 Gbps) port, two USB4 Type-C (40 Gbps) ports, a microSD card reader (300MB/s), a 3.5mm audio jack, and a 49 Wh battery.
