Forget the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch, the AYANEO Kun handheld gaming PC boasts an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor clocked at 3.3Ghz with plenty of power to run the latest games. Featuring an 8.4-inch IPS (2560 x 1600) display, up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a 2TB internal SSD, and a 75Wh (19,500mAh) battery good for hours of continuous gameplay.
Input wise, there’s a floating eight-directional D-pad, dual touchpads, two thumbsticks, and four back buttons. Plus, you also get a Windows Hello-compatible IR camera. How much will it cost? Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it’s estimated to be priced between $899 – $1,499 USD, or the cost of a typical gaming laptop. An Indiegogo crowdfunding page was setup previously, but that has since been removed. Taki Udon does have a review unit in hand, so that does bode well for an imminent release.

Looks really good, that packaging is nice. The big screen certainly is great. I would def[initely] buy it over the Steam Deck but unfortunately the size is too big for me, just as how the Steam Deck size is also too big for me. Loses a lot of the portability aspect imo, especially with the amount of things I carry when traveling. I don’t trust that kickstand though. But damn, that screen sure is tempting,” said one commenter.
