Gyroscopic Transport
We have seen the future of public transportation, and it could include Dahir Insaat’s “Gyroscopic Transport,” which basically consists of giant disk-shaped vehicles that can elevate above traffic, while overlapping each other to avoid traffic. It has “huge potential to provide an efficient, economical, safe, environmentally friendly, comfortable, and maneuverable conveyance that is independent of the general traffic flows on arterial roads,” according to its designer.

Its designer believes that this mode of transportation is compatible with most human populations where city dwellers are most active. The vehicle can easily pass alongside parks, squares, and pedestrian paths. In some cases, it can even ride alongside people strolling down wide streets.
