It’s official, the rumored Dead by Daylight Alien crossover DLC will be released on August 29th and those interested can download it now on the Public Test Build for PC. That’s right, a brand new Nostromo map is coming, complete with Ellen Ripley and at least one Xenomorph as well as several hidden access tunnels.
Creating the Xenomorph’s Tunnel system wasn’t easy, as game designer Janick Neveu says that the team had never created a sub-level that could only be accessible to the killer. This new mechanic gives it map-wide mobility and most certainly amplifies the scare factor, which definitely feels very connected to the original character. Some of the Xenomorph perks include Ultimate Weapon, Rapid Brutality and Alien Instinct, the latter of which can be activated when you hook a Survivor. Ellen Ripley also has her own perks like Lucky Star, Chemical Trap and Light Footed.
