Disney just released the first X-Men ’97 trailer and we see that it picks up right after the events of X-Men: The Animated Series (1992–1997). Marvel Animation teases the new challenges that the X-Men will face following the loss of their leader, Professor X.
X-Men ’97 will premiere March 20, 2024 on Disney+, and its first season will consist of ten episodes. For those who just can’t get enough, you’ll be happy to know that a second season is already in development. Did you know that X-Men: The Animated Series was actually Marvel Comics’ second attempt at an animated X-Men television series? That’s right, their X-Men: Pryde of the X-Men was not picked up by any networks back in 1989.
