The DJI Osmo 360, priced at $356.29 (was $549.99) is currently the gold standard among 360-degree cameras. The device was released this summer, and its results outperform rivals such as the Insta360 X5 and GoPro Max 2 in a variety of critical areas. For starters, its dual square sensors provide true 1-inch 360-degree imaging, a first in the category.
The ultimate result is native 8K video at 30 frames per second, with pixels measuring 2.4 microns, which provides you exceptionally clean footage and a higher dynamic range. Trying to shoot in low light? The details are preserved, the noise is kept to a minimum, and the colors remain perfect even in extremely low-light or high contrast conditions. Then there’s the SuperNight mode, which takes your nighttime footage to the next level without putting it through the wringer in post-production.

The camera also has a far longer battery life than expected, with up to 100 minutes of 8K/30fps video on a single charge. The battery is the same size as the Osmo action series, so you can use any spares you have on hand, which is quite convenient. The accompanying charging case keeps your spares fresh during extended shooting.
Stabilization is also excellent, thanks to RockSteady and HorizonSteady technology. The single-lens mode is also a nice touch, as it allows you to be more versatile with your photos, offering a 4K at 120fps with a 170-degree angle option for all of the normal action shots or those awesome slo-mo clips.
Sound quality has also improved significantly, thanks to four built-in microphones that pick up sound in all directions. If you want to get fancy, you may use a DJI wireless mic to get high-quality 24-bit sound without the need for any other equipment.

In terms of build quality, the camera is constructed like a tank; weighing only 183 grams, it is light enough to fit into your pocket while still receiving a decent IP68 rating for water resistance up to 10 meters (33 feet). To top it all off, the magnetic mounts integrate smoothly with all of your existing DJI gear, and you can even use a regular 1/4 inch thread if you want to go old school.
