Holiday decorations have a way of bringing people together but then they’re often over and done with come the new year. Govee Curtain Lights 2, priced at $85.99 (was $149.99), is one product that actually seems to bring things together – we mean this literally, by design to basically merge decor from several rooms and even patios into one beautiful display. The whole thing looks like a set of strands of LED lights draped over something, pulsating with a whole range of different patterns.
You can string this kit across a wall in a bedroom for example, and it will spread out over about 5 by 7 feet, giving you a display that is made up of 520 individual lights. They all work together so you get a really continuous flow of color from one strand to the next. People have been raving about its durability too – the IP65 rating has managed to keep it going through winter storms and all sort of summer evenings when all the other lights would have been knocked out.

The control box is clever too, it charges from a regular socket and the cables are all out of the way, which is just what you need when you don’t want a load of clutter. Its all pretty straightforward to set up too, it gets the lights all synced up in under 2 minutes and then the fun can begin – there are loads of scenes to choose from. You can pick scenes that make fireworks go off across the lights or ones where the lights just drift by like an Aurora Borealis. Plus, you can even upload your own image onto the lights for them to mimic.
Outside, they’re pretty good at coping with fading sunshine and the brightness levels will automatically adjust when nightfall comes. And to make things easy – the plastic spacers at the bottom keep the strands aligned, so you don’t have to deal with a load of tangled mess like you do with other lights on windy days.

Customization is pretty much how you want it to be, so you can set the lights to change with the seasons, or just turn on quietly at sunset. One of the other great things about this is how easy they are to put away for the next season. There are no wires to worry about, just peel off the hooks, roll them up and they’re all ready to go again the following year.
