This fan Grand Theft Auto III remake in Unreal Engine 5 shows what a modern version of the 2001 game could look like. Creating this remake required important several mods into Unreal Engine 5 including the Liberty City Remix Mod as well as the Project FromThePast GTA III car pack.
Something that hasn’t changed you still play the game from a third-person perspective and need to complete missions—linear scenarios with set objectives—to progress through the story. You can also freely roam the game’s open world, but we have yet to see the ability to complete optional side missions. For those who have never played GTA II, Liberty City is composed of three boroughs: Portland, Staunton Island, and Shoreside Vale.
