LG announces two new auto pivot LCD Monitors, the 17″ FLATRON L1780Qplus and the 19″ L1980Qplus. Both models feature auto pivot technology which lets users rotate the screen 180 degrees in either portrait or landscape modes. Once rotated, the monitor uses “Auto Mirror” technology to keep what’s displayed on the screen upright. In addition to those features, these LCD Monitors have an incredible 1600:1 contrast ratio which keeps images razor sharp. Other specifications include 8ms response time, 1280 X 1024 resolution, and 300cd brightness. These monitors will be released in January at the prices of $534 (17″) and $631 (19″).
