It’s no Boeing Orca, but the $2-billion Migaloo M5 is the first superyacht we’ve seen that doubles as an ultra luxurious submarine. You get 1,000 square meters of interior space, complete with 220 square meters just for the owner’s suite. It can accomodate between between 14-20 guests and 32-40 crew, dependent on how the M5 is configured.

When you’re not exploring the ocean world, the M5 can store up to five Sea-Doo Jet-Skis, Seabobs, Zapata Racing flyboards, hoverboards, paddleboards, kayaks, and even two custom Midget-Submarines. If you’re on a quest to seek out Aquaman, it has a range 9,300 miles and can travel at speeds of up to 20 knots when surfaced and 12 knots underwater.

In addition to motor yachts and sailing yachts, I believe that submersible superyachts will become an additional category of private vessels that owners can choose from,” said Christian Gumpold, Migaloo PSY CEO.
