Netflix teases their all-new Splinter Cell: Deathwatch anime based on the video game series, which follows Fisher, a black ops agent working for a US government division called the Fourth Echelon.
The teaser trailer shows a pair of goggles sinking in water and flowers placed onto the coffin of a man named Douglas Shetland. The words “Beloved Father” are inscribed on the wooden casket, and Fisher narrates, “Once you get used to the shadows, you see bad people for who they really are. And they’ll never see you coming for them.” This series comes from the minds at Ubisoft Film & Television and animation studios Sun Creature & Fost, with Guillaume Dousse and Félicien Colmet-Daage helming the directors’ chairs. There’s no word yet on when fans can expect the series to hit Netflix.
