After numerous leaks, the new LEGO Concorde Set (10318) has officially been revealed. It faithfully recreates the first supersonic passenger carrying commercial aircraft with 2,083 pieces. Unfortunately (or fortunately), this model is not capable of traveling at twice the speed of sound like its real-life counterpart.
It’s touted as an accurate scale model of the airplane that can be showcased in the home using the included display stand. You can pose the brick-plane either in flight mode or tilted mode for take-off and landing, just like the real Concorde. Other features include a removable roof to show off the cabin interior, landing gear, as well as the nose and visor tilts. Available starting September 4 for LEGO VIPs and September 7 for the general public, priced at $199.99 USD.
