Nikon subsidiary MRMC’s Cinebot Mini is basically a compact, lightweight, live-action camera robot that gives users full manual control over camera positions and makes complex motion control movements a breeze. It can be used with a track or pedestal, integrating motion control with the familiarity and type of control that is used on everyday sets with regular grip equipment.
Cinematographers can also hand-hold the camera (up to 22.04-pounds) in multiple positions and then use the robotic arm to record them. Users can also push the track like they would a standard dolly and then record this movement and play it back. Cinebot Mini is available for shipping now, with pricing available upon request. You can get hands-on time with the robot at upcoming trade shows.
