Audi AI:ME Hatchback

Revealed at Auto Shanghai 2019, the futuristic Audi AI:ME is an all-electric hatchback that just might be the perfect city car. The vehicle is powered by a 65 kWh battery pack, paired with a synchronous electric motor located at the rear axle, generating a combined 170 hp. What makes it so good for cruising the streets is its Level 4 autonomous driving system, which enables it to drive itself without driver input. The AI system is “capable of learning and thinking, while also being proactive and personal,” said the company. However, you’ll still find a steering wheel and pedals in case of emergency. MD 969 Combat Helicopter Drones
At first glance, the MD 969 Combat Helicopter looks like any other you’d see military forces using, but upon closer inspection, you’ll see that it comes equipped with a CLT (Common Launch Tube) system. This specially mounted array is located in the rear of the 969’s fuselage and consists of seven launch tubes that can be loaded with precision-strike missiles or even independently operating drones. SanDisk 1-Terabyte MicroSD

SanDisk’s 1TB Extreme microSDXC is now listed online for sale, but it comes at a hefty price, or $449.99 to be exact. It’s a HS-1 rated card with read speeds up to 160MB per second and write speeds up to 90MB per second, perfect for use in mobile phones for capturing 4K footage, since it boasts a sustained video capture rate of 30MB per second on UHS-enabled host devices. Rocket Arena
Nexon America and Final Strike Games have just revealed Rocket Arena, an all-new 3v3 rockets-only shooter. Simply put, each character has their very own arsenal of bombs, traps, spells and, of course, rockets to send enemies caught within them flying. Emotigun

Created by Tadas Maksimovas, the Emotigun is basically a wireless 12V gatling gun that unloads real-life emojis, such as Facebook likes, instead of traditional ammunition. This wooden sling shot of sorts is capable of firing over ten rounds per second using anti-cold rubber bands. New McLaren GT

Priced from $210,000, the 2020 McLaren GT is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 generating 612 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0-60 in a mere 3.1-seconds, while topping out at 203 mph. The chassis is a custom MonoCell II-T monocoque, complete with a carbon fiber rear upper structure offering 14.8 cu.ft luggage area below the tailgate and a soft-close function as standard. DJI Osmo Action

The DJI Osmo Action has been officially unveiled, and this 4K resolution camera is most certainly a worthy GoPro rival. At $349, it features a front 1.4in display for selfies, a rear 2.25in touchscreen, two microphones, the ability to live-stream footage via a companion smartphone app, waterproofing, up to 60 frames per second 4K resolution video, 8x slow-mo video in 1080p resolution, 12 megapixel photos, and voice-activated controls. Apple Mac Pro Phoenix Leak
Here’s an alleged image of the upcoming Mac Pro 7.1 refresh from an internal Apple presentation slide. Labeled “Mac Pro 7.1” and codenamed “Phoenix,” it shows a square design that measures in at 7.7 x 11.55 x 11.55 inches, comes equipped with an Intel Xeon W Cascade Lake-X processor, an Apple T2 security chip, an “Apple X2 Accelerator,” AMD Firepro-X memory, as well as DD45 SO-DIMM memory. Los Angeles Reservoir 96-Million Black Balls

If you ever come across a body of water with mysterious black balls, there actually shade balls, or small plastic spheres floated on top of a reservoir for environmental protection and to slow evaporation. Initially, they were developed to prevent birds from landing on toxic tailing ponds produced by mining operations. In 2014 – 2015, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power deployed 96 million shade balls on its largest reservoir in response to the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s surface water treatment rule, a nd claims that in addition to reducing evaporation, they also reduce UV radiation by-products and algae growth.
