Tesla Semi Truck

Tesla’s new semi-truck isn’t just for looks, as it can haul up to 80,000 pounds, and can do 0 to 60 mph in just 5.0-seconds, thanks to four independent electric motors that draw power from a battery bank in the base of the vehicle, generating a combined output of 1000 hp. All of this technology is packed into a Class 8 semi-truck with a drag coefficient lower than a Bugatti Chiron with a 6.5-foot cab that you can actually stand in. It will come equipped with a 200kwh battery pack, good for a 630-mile range when fully charged, which means you’ll be able to drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco, and back, without recharging. For those wondering, it’s a 2 by 2 four-seater, and slated for release in 2020, priced from $200,000, with the first 1,000 sold being Founder’s Series models at $250,000 each.
