A conjunction is a celestial event that occurs when two astronomical objects or spacecraft have either the same right ascension or the same ecliptic longitude, usually as observed from Earth. This year, Jupiter and Venus will shine brightly together before dawn on Tuesday, January 22, after the Super Blood Wolf Moon on Sunday. Despite rising together, climbing above the horizon by 5 a.m. local time, and then appearing to be close, the two planets are actually 400-million miles apart. “The Jupiter and Venus conjunction will be easily bright enough to see from any location, even large cities,” said NASA. The Droid Razr M is an Android-based, 4G LTE-capable smartphone that was released in 2012, now Lenovo could be bringing the RAZR back as a $1,500 foldable mobile phone that could be launched as early as February, according to the Wall Street Journal. It’s reported to be priced around $1,500, and could look similar to the Royole FlexPai or it may work like the RAZR V4 concept, where the top half folds down when not in use. There’s no word yet on what kind of processor, camera, RAM, storage, etc. it would have, but at that price point, it should at least compete with Samsung’s upcoming foldable phone. CERN’s Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the world’s largest atom smasher, has been up and running for the past 7-years, confirming the existence of a mysterious subatomic particle known as the Higgs boson. Now, physicists have proposed a $24-billion project to build an even larger collider. Called “The Future Circular Collider (FCC),” this would be four times bigger and up to ten times more powerful than the LHC. “The FCC conceptual design report is a remarkable accomplishment. It shows the tremendous potential of the FCC to improve our knowledge of fundamental physics and to advance many technologies with a broad impact on society,” said CERN Director-General Fabiola Gianotti.
