Taiwanese Grandpa Pokemon Go

We first covered Chen San-yuan, a 70-year-old in Taiwan that has been dubbed “Pokémon Grandpa,” a few months back when he was only using 6 devices to play Pokémon Go. Now, he’s using 15 mobile phones at once while riding his bike to catch all the rare creatures that he can. How did it all begin? He learned about the game from his grandson in 2016, and has been playing ever since. “I used one cell phone back then and kept playing and playing. SpeedyCopter Amphibious Helicopter Car

Auto enthusiast Jeff Bloch, also known as “SpeedyCop,” spent 3,000-hours transforming a real Vietnam attack helicopter into the “SpeedyCopter”. The project began in the summer of 2016, when Jeff and his crew spent about six months at his home in Southern Maryland, USA, completely revamping a 1969 Bell OH-58 Kiowa Vietnam attack aircraft he managed to purchase for $3,100 in an online auction, to sit on a 1986 Toyota van chassis. “It’s not just street legal and race ready, it’s also fully amphibious. The Samsung Galaxy S10 may still be months from its official release, but leaks have already given us a glimpse at its successor, which may be the S11 (XI). Both the Galaxy S11 and Galaxy S11 Edge are expected to be unveiled in late 2019, after the launch of the Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10 Edge. Patents show that at least one model could feature a bezel-less AMOLED display, in which the four sides of the device also are also touch surfaces. Bose Frames AR Augmented Reality

Bose today intrduced Frames, an innovative product combining the style of premium sunglasses, functionality of wireless headphones, and the world’s first audio augmented reality platform, into a single wearable. Simply put, these take micro-acoustics and voice control to a whole new level. Sporting a proprietary open-ear design, they are capable of streaming music, information, take / make calls, and access virtual assistants, all the while keeping playlists, entertainment, as well as conversations private. It’s powered by a lithium battery that connects to an included pogo-pin cable for charging. When fully charged, they’re good for up to 3.5 hours for playback and 12 hours on standby – can be fully recharged in less than two hours. At first glance, the Pyro Pen looks and even functions like a real Sharpie permanent marker, but at the push of a button, it becomes a flame-throwing machine. Is it safe? The company claims that the secret is that the barrels are filled with ‘flash’ paper, or a specially-treated tissue paper that burns extremely quickly and is gone in the blink of an eye. There’s also an LED inside to notify you when the device is armed and ready to fire – blue light shows when it’s on, so if it is, you’re able to keep the fireball end away from your face and body. Japanese Photographer Dogs Before After Grooming

Photographer Grace Chon has started a new photo series called “HAIRY”, and it’s exactly as you imagined. All of the dogs featured in these images have been groomed in a Japanese grooming style, which doesn’t follow the usual cuts and rules, but rather emphasizes making the animals look as adorable as possible. Each of these haircuts took hours at the Los Angeles-based Healthy Spot, since most of the styling is done by hand. “I’ve always found before and after photos from dog grooming to be really funny. Usually it doesn’t even look like it’s the same dog in each photo! I had the idea of shooting a photo series that highlighted this extreme transformation,” said Grace. Boasting sub-6 GHz and mmWave support, the company’s 4th-generation on-device AI engine, true 4K HDR video capture, cinema-grade photography capabilities, and a 3D Sonic Sensor — all packaged into a a 7-nanometer chip. “The Snapdragon 855 will define the premium tier in 2019,” said Alex Katouzian, SVP and GM of Mobile for Qualcomm Technologies.
