As much as we’d like this to be a still from a new, secretly-in-development Cronenberg movie, it’s actually an image of the nightmare-inducing mechanical heart that stars in a new series of Sony ads.

Google has unveiled a new GMail Autopilot feature that basically takes care of all those “you’ve won something” messages. Simply let Autopilot “read a sampling of your conversations (more than 100 is ideal), then adjust a few simple settings and it will do the rest.” Project page.

ThinkGeek’s new interactive t-shirts “includes an interdimensional portal (aka – LCD Panel and camera) that wirelessly connects to another shirt — if you finish your goal, there will be cake.” Video after the break.

The finished product you see here uses two wireless 5.8 GHz video cameras mounted in the front of each shirt along with two high-res LCD TFT screens. The camera in the orange shirt transmits the image to the blue shirt, and vise versa.

Sotec’s latest netbook may be Hello Kitty-branded, but it’s definitely no slouch when it comes to performance. Powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.60-GHZ processor and 1GB of RAM, it runs Windows 7 with ease, as you’ll see after the break.

The netbook was able to provide decent performance, from normal web surfing while data was being transferred in the background, as well as opening 400 pictures in Bridge, and even editing in Photoshop CS3.
