Mobile TV has arrived for the Palm Treo 650, subscribers to the “MobiTV” service will be able to watch over 25 channels beamed directly to their device. Carriers that will support MobiTV are Cingular, Sprint Nextel, and Verizon Wireless. If you use an unlocked version of this phone you’ll be able to use your current US carrier. This service is to cost $10 monthly through MobiTV directly or Handmark.
MobiTV claims that they have had thousands of Treo users contact their support lines and beg for MobiTV. Little do they know about 99% of those calls came from me, I was trying out my various dead president impressions.
