Razer Boomslang 20th Anniversary Edition Mouse
The Razer Boomslang 20th Anniversary Edition is the most expensive gaming mouse on the market in 2026, costing $1337. However, the company had a rational justification for it, which had nothing to do with performance but rather with its rich history. Boomslang was first released in 1999, ushering in a long tradition of gaming peripherals. With an impressive 2000 DPI, compared to just 400 DPI for its competitors, it was a true innovation in high-precision technology, spawning a whole new genre of specialist peripherals.

Today, in 2026, 21 years after Razer Inc. was officially founded, the company has resurrected the design under the ‘Boomslang’ name, bringing forth the latest in technological equipment. There are only 1337 of these magnificent devices in existence, each with its own serial number. The number itself is a throwback to ancient internet lingo, where ‘1337’ stood for ‘elite,’ or ‘leet,’ referring to highly talented gamers. Razer has decided to charge the device in the same way, so collectors will be excited to own this piece of history.

The original Boomslang had a snake-like head, which the design retained. The design ensures that it works equally effectively for left- and right-handed users. Leather wrapping around the buttons adds a charming touch of sophistication. It also looks rather cool, with its deep green finish and transparent shell that allows you to view what’s inside. Under all that glitz, there are nine zones of Razer Chroma RGB lighting that create a cool underglow. If that wasn’t enough, the entire design pays homage to the original, which had a translucent shell.

The Boomslang 20th Anniversary Edition is not only a stunning mouse, but it also delivers exceptional performance. All of this is made possible by the Razer Focus Pro 45K Optical Sensor Gen 2, which can achieve undefeatable accuracy of up to 45,000 DPI. Furthermore, the Razer HyperPolling Wireless Technology enables an incredible 8,000 Hz refresh rate with nearly no latency. However, the Optical Mouse Switches Gen 4 promise 100 million clicks with no difficulties. The mouse can also be connected wirelessly with the supplied Razer Mouse Dock Pro receiver and charger. If you want to dress it up, it also has glass mouse feet so you can glide it on any surface.

For collectors, the box includes more than just a mouse: an LED display frame that shows the device’s interior design, allowing you to proudly exhibit it as a work of art rather than a tool. Pre-orders began in February 2026 and are only accessible through Razer’s website and a few select locations until all units are sold.
