Like its predecessor, Motorola’s RAZR Z sports a sleek metal finish and slim design (14.8 mm thick). What sets this model apart is its sliding keypad. Cingular has just picked up the Pantech PG-C120 handset. This slim candy bar-style phone includes a 65k color STN LCD display and VGA camera. It measures only 103 x 42.5 x 13.5 mm and weighs just 75g. If you like the idea of using one device to control your home appliances while away from home, check out this nifty Japanese gadget called the Remocon Saucer. A potential negative, the Remocon needs its own cell phone to function. Once connected, you’re able to dial-in and have it carry out predefined commands like turning on/off the TV, etc. A good concept, but not very practical. It hits stores on February 10th at the price of $100 USD.

Behold the first augmented reality game to hit cell phones. In “Kick Real”, players aim the camera phone down at their feet and take penalty kicks – using an imaginary ball – on a virtual soccer field. Your foot actually shows up on screen, how cool is that?
