For those who missed the Superbowl commercials yesterday (or even the entire game), the Chrysler 200 spot featuring Eminem was rated as the most popular. In second, was Volkswagen’s Star Wars commercial. Click here for more pictures. Continue reading to watch.

Chrysler actually outperfomed Volkswagen in the Brand Bowl, placing first with a score of 91. The spot, which features Eminem, is a tribute to the City of Detroit and its people, an emotional message.

Now here’s something you don’t see everyday: someone dropping “a 1500 pound pallet of used cell phones onto a Chevy Camaro.” Thankfully, the film crew says that “the phones in this video were damaged beyond repair. They were all cleaned up and recycled properly.” Continue reading to watch.

The filmmakers later clarified that the Camaro wasn’t in running condition, wasn’t close to ever running again, and was bought by a member of the crew as a parts car after the shoot.

It’s the total lack of focus on software that’s really getting me, here. Ever since E3, Microsoft has been acting like Sony circa 2007, with its conflicting marketing messages and emphasis on hardware over software.

A Chinese ad agency hired a group of stunt drivers to play a live-action Pac-Man game using Chevrolet Cruze vehicles, and the resulting commercial is nothing short of geeky. Continue reading to watch.

A large room serves as the stage for a full-size representation of the Pac-Man universe. A white Chevy Cruze plays the part of Mr. Pac-Man while a series of Black Cruzes represent the ghosts.
