RoboCop has entered Fortnite and players can pick up the skin in the Item Shop right now. The cyborg law enforcer comes equipped with the leg of ED-209, the pre-RoboCop peacekeeping machines created by Omni Consumer Products, while the LEG-209 Back Bling is included with the outfit and can be purchased separately as a Pickaxe.
“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” hit theaters this week and what better way to celebrate in Fortnite than with a new Scarlet Witch outfit? This sorceress from Sokovia, also known as Wanda Maximoff, is available now in the Item Shop and included with the new skin is also Wanda’s Cloak Back Bling. Both of these are illuminated with Chaos Magic when dealing damage to rivals.
It’s official, the LEGO Group is teaming up with Epic Games to build a metaverse that is safe and fun for children as well as families. This virtual world aims to provide access to tools that will empower them to become confident creators and deliver amazing play opportunities in a safe and positive space. There’s no confirmation that Fortnite will be in this metaverse, but considering Epic Games owns the game, it won’t be any surprise either.
Ezio Auditore da Firenze from Assassin’s Creed is coming to Fortnite, according to the latest leak. From the images, players will be able to select from Ezio with his hood on or off, complete with his signature Hidden Blade, while the outfit itself is based on the one from Assassin’s Creed 2. Unfortunately, there’s no official word yet on when we’ll be seeing Ezio in the game, although rumors have it set for March 3rd.
The NBA is making a triumphant return to Fortnite in celebration of the league’s 75th Anniversary Season and All-Star 2022 event. Players can now vote for which NBA celebration they want turned into a future Emote in Fortnite, with voting taking place in the game’s NBA 75 All-Star Hub, made by creator team Atlas Creative, which doubles as a friend hub as well as NBA highlights archive. Fortnite Winterfest 2021 (December 16 – January 6) has begun and there are a few surprises, including Spider-Man: No Way Home skins featuring Tom Holland as Spider-Man and Zendaya as MJ. Aside from the skins at the Winterfest Lodge, you’ll also be able to unlock two Pickaxes, two Wraps, a Glider, Contrail, Emote, Lobby Track, Loading, Screen, Emoticon, Spray, and Banner. There were rumors of Spider-Man arriving in Fortnite Chapter 3, and it’s safe to say that they were all true. To get this new skin, you’ll have to purchase the ‘Chapter 3, Season 1’ Battle Pass from the in-game store for 950 V-Bucks. For those who are already subscribed to the ‘Fortnite Crew’ monthly subscription, this Battle Pass is included. Next, just head on over to Page 9 of the Battle Pass, which requires either 75 total unlocked rewards, or the player to have reached Level 80. Fortnite Season 8’s battle pass has arrived, and it features a surprise mythic at the end: Carnage, the extraterrestrial symbiote from Spider-Man. For those who hate waiting, Epic Games also added symbiote weapons to the battle royale game that can be discovered. Before we get started, keep in mind that since the symbiotes are Mythic weapons, they occupy one item slot in a player’s inventory when picked up, but immediately grants the wearer zero gravity jumps as well as the ability to re-deploy a glider during any high jump. Crossovers are nothing new in Fortnite, but this latest one lets players celebrate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in a new interactive experience presented by TIME Studios. This “March Through Time” event was developed by members of the community in Fortnite Creative and immerses players in the entirety of the civil rights leader’s “I Have A Dream” speech as well as the history surrounding it.
