LG New Folding Smartphone

LG Electronics filed a design patent with The Hague International Design System back in May 2019. and it was just recently published on November 29, 2019 under the name “Mobile phone.” The design sketches reveal a foldable smartphone that looks somewhat similar to the Huawei Mate X, complete with a flexible OLED display. Huawei MatePad Pro Tablet iPad Pro

Huawei is currently developing a tablet, allegedly called MatePad Pro, with a punch-hole display, and it will support the company’s smart magnetic keyboard as well as the M-Pen stylus. Unlike its predecessors, this model has slimmer bezels around the display, minus the fingerprint sensor, and in the back, there’s a pill-shaped camera module with dual sensors and an LED flash. Huawei Mate X Foldable Smartphone Release
Huawei unveiled the Mate X prototype at Barcelona’s Mobile World Congress back in February as a competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy Fold, and unlike the latter, this foldable smartphone has a wraparound outside display that’s accessible even when the device is closed. Priced at an eye-watering $2400, the Mate X is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 980 processor with 8GB of RAM and 512 GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The main highlight is its 8-inch OLED display that folds outwards to form a 6.6-inch main display and a 6.38-inch rear display. Read more for a video and additional information.

Huawei Mate X 2

Huawei is set to release its first foldable smartphone, the Mate X, in China next month. Even before its official launch, the company is already working on the second-generation Mate X 2, and this one may include a stylus pen, or at least according to a recent patent filing. Huawei Technologies filed the patent earlier this year with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) and it was published on September 26, 2019, showing a foldable mobile phone. Huawei Watch GT2
If you’re seeking an alternative to the Apple Watch or Wear OS, there’s the all-new Huawei Watch GT2, running LiteOS. Available in two sizes, the 42mm with a more rounded case sporting curved glass, along with a 1.39-inch OLED (454 x 454) and then the 46mm, which comes equipped with a laser-etched bezel around the flat, 1.2-inch OLED (390 x 390) round display. Huawei Mate 30 Pro
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has been officially unveiled, and it no longer has access to Google Play services. On the bright side, it’s powered by the new Kirin 990 chipset, 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage (expandable with Huawei NM card), and a high-capacity 4,500mAh battery, complete with 40W charging as well as superfast 27W wireless charging support. Huawei FreeBuds 3
Apple AirPods, or at least the current generation, will have some major competition this holiday season in the form of Huawei’s FreeBuds 3. They’re claimed to be the world’s first open-fit active noise cancelling headphones, powered by the all-new Kirin A1 chipset. Huawei HarmonyOS Operating System
Huawei HarmonyOs is the company’s official Android replacement, unveiled at a press conference in the southern city of Dongguan, China. The operating system is known as HongMengOS in Chinese, which translates to “bring more harmony and convenience to the world”. This software is crucial if the White House tightens the ban on US companies selling technology products to Huawei, which would include Google’s Android operating system. Samsung Galaxy Fold Huawei Mate X Hands-On

Now that we know Samsung is going to officially release its Galaxy Fold smartphone in September, the Huawei Mate X can’t be far behind, and a refreshed handset was recently spotted out in the wild by journalist Li Wei at an airport in China. What are the main differences from the previous design unveiled at Mobile World Congress earlier this year? Well, a fourth camera has been added in the rear, while the central spine is now clad in a texturized carbon fiber-like composite material. Huawei held an exclusive launch event today at the Paris Convention Center where the Huawei P30 Pro was unveiled. Featuring an innovative SuperSpectrum Sensor, an optical SuperZoom Lens, a new Time of Flight (ToF) Camera, and enhanced optical and AI image stabilization technology. The P30 Pro achieved a record-high overall DxOMark score of 112, thanks to a new Leica Quad Camera System, including a 40MP main camera with the SuperSpectrum Sensor, a 20MP ultra-wide angle camera, an 8MP telephoto camera, the ToF Camera and a 32MP front camera that takes selfies to a new level.
