Google’s new ad, part of the “Best Phones Forever” campaign, takes a fun poke at Apple by teasing the rumored iPhone 17 design, especially its camera layout, which looks like the Google Pixel’s famous camera bar. The ad shows talking phones, with the Pixel joking that the iPhone is “copying” its style years later.

This new entry in the iPhone series is rumored to be incredibly thin, with a chassis potentially as slim as 5.5mm at its thinnest point, though the camera bump might be thicker.

Based on a new leak from Digital Chat Station, the upcoming foldable iPhone is reported to have a a 7.76-inch inner display at 2,713 x 1,920 resolution and a 5.49-inch outer display at 2,088 x 1,422. They also note a possible under-screen camera for the inner display and a punch-hole camera for the outer one, with a 4:3 aspect ratio for the former.

Some new leaks say the iPhone 17 Pro will have a much cutout for its rear cameras than older models. Pictures of supposed iPhone 17 Pro cases, posted by a leaker named Sonny Dickson, show a large rectangular spot on the back, suggesting the camera part is getting a complete redesign.

Apple is reportedly set to launch their long rumored foldable iPhone in late 2026, possibly around the second half of the year. It’s purported to be in development with a book-style folding design, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, rather than a clamshell style like the Galaxy Z Flip. This means it would likely have a larger inner display—rumored to be around 7.8 inches when unfolded—for a tablet-like experience, alongside a smaller outer display of about 5.5 inches for use when folded.
