Liberty Walk LB-ER34 Super Silhouette  Skyline
The Nissan GT-R has been dubbed “Godzilla”, but not everyone knows why. One tuning shop that most certainly does is Liberty Walk Japan, and they’ve unveiled their latest creation, the “LB-ER34 Super Silhouette Skyline,” which consists of a full dry carbon widebody kit, complete with ultra flared wheel arches and concave wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan GT performance tires.

What if there was a prototype city where one could test out the latest technologies, such as AI, robots, sustainable energy, cars, etc.? Introducing Toyota’s prototype “Woven City,” which is a 175-acre plot of land that will be turned into a futuristic theme park of sorts, with construction set to begin in 2021 with Danish architect Bjarke Ingels’ Big designing the entire thing.

Minimalist Home Takamatsu Blade Runner

Tokyo design studio FujiwaraMuro Architects has revealed their latest project, a geometric residence for a family located in port city Takamatsu, a Japanese province of Kagawa, that looks to be straight from a Blade Runner movie. Spanning 2,195-square-feet of living space over three floors, the owner wanted to showcase his Maserati GranTurismo, so they built a glass wall to showcase the automobile for the interior.

Newspaper Sculpture Art Battleship

Japanese artist Atsushi Adachi didn’t want to throw out his old newspaper clippings, so he turns them into amazing sculptures, battleships included. He’s been intrigued with battleships, combat planes and other military gear since childhood, when he used to visit Self-Defense Force and American Armed Forces bases. Afterwards, he attempted to make 3D models of what he saw. Read more for a video and additional information.

Japan Hayabusa2 Space Probe 162173 Rygu
Japan’s Hayabusa2 space probe is headed back to Earth with samples from asteroid 162173 Ryugu, which is located approximately 180-million miles away. There’s just one more thing, it will capture pictures of the half-mile-wide asteroid as it fades into the blackness of space, and then the probe’s field of view will turn back toward Earth for the return journey. Liberty Walk was established by Wataru Kato when he was just 26 years old, and the tuning shop has been producing outlandish body kits for supercars ever since. When they first operated, the shop was built on a small vehicle lot where they could only exhibit 3 cars, and to this day there is still no other brand out there “capturing the current tuning zeitgeist” as Liberty Walk. Their latest Lamborghini Huracan body kit has been revealed ahead of the 2019 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Read more for another picture and additional information.

Microsoft Excel Artist Japan Tatsuo Horiuchi
Tatsuo Horiuchi, an 79-year-old artist from Japan’s Nagano Prefecture, prefers using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets over actual paint to create his masterpieces. Horiuchi didn’t want to spend money on art supplies so he started to use Excel to create art after seeing others using the program at work. How does it work? The Autoshape function is mainly used to form the images and then custom colored shapes are layered to weave together an intricate image.

Video production company Armadas captured incredible footage of Japan between 2017 and 2019 in several of the country’s major cities, including Hakodate, Yokohama, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Tokyo using a RED Weapon 8K, paired with a Monstro 8K VV sensor upgrade. For those who don’t know, the RED Montro 8K VV is an $79,500 camera that records video at up to 8K resolution and 60 fps, while capturing 35.4-megapixel stills. It also offer 17+ stops of dynamic range using a sensor that measures 40.96 x 21.60 mm. Read more for the video and additional information.

Anime Amazon Boxes Weapons
Twitter user “Tsukuru-San” might be an Amazon Prime member who has accumulated a large number of empty boxes, but instead of throwing them out, he transforms them into anime / video game weapons. These aren’t some miniature sculptures that you put on display, but rather functional creations that make for great social media posts. His latest creation is the centipede blade, which is able to retract / extend on command, from Tokyo Ghoul used by the character Kureo Mado. Read more for videos and additional information.
