LEGO is kicking off 2026 with set 11371, Shopping Street, a 3,456-piece masterpiece of a set that has recently been introduced to the Icons Modular Buildings Collection and is priced at $249.99. This model is currently available for purchase and built on a regular 32×32 baseplate, but it breaks away from the norm by including a fully asymmetrical arrangement that connects seamlessly on both sides.

KaijuBuilds has created a new take on Portal 2 for LEGO Ideas, transforming Portal’s apparently infinite test rooms into a hands-on LEGO build with approximately 1280 pieces. Builders start with a large orange base plate covered in little connection points. Tiles snap on securely using short and long connectors held by technic pins and axles. These keep everything stable no matter how often someone rearranges the layout.

Fans of LEGO and 3D printing share a common desire to bring new things to life from raw materials. Now, thanks to a recent submission on LEGO Ideas, the two worlds are merging in an intriguing way: with a highly accurate model of a Creality Ender-series 3D printer.

Nintendo’s officially licensed LEGO Game Boy kit looks exactly like the original handheld, with grey bricks and a lenticular “screen” that shows various viewpoints of game scenes. Many builders admired the design but wished it was something you could play with. LCLDIY from China decided to go big or go home, taking the idea and expanding it up well beyond the original while also cramming it with real electronics.

YouTuber ‘Nate from the Internet’ has great memories of a 1984 LEGO kit called King’s Castle, which was usually an afternoon’s worth of clashing knights and crumbling walls when he was a kid. Years later, he had a desire to return to that childhood toy, but his plan was to take it to a whole new level, such that playtime became a construction project in and of itself. To accomplish this, he used a 3D printer to reproduce the complete set at 20 times its original size, block by block and turret by turret.

Fans of the Upside Down have waited what seems like an eternity for this moment. Finally, with Stranger Things’ last season ending on December 31, LEGO has stepped in to preserve the dread in brick form. The new LEGO Icons Stranger Things: The Creel House, set 11370, captures the creepy core of Hawkins’ most cursed location, transforming a seemingly simple structure into a portal for countless repeats of the show’s darkest events. At 2,593 pieces, this Icons collection demands patience, but the payoff reveals layers of detail that reward every click.

Substance Labs’ started the BrickBoy project with the aim of getting the official LEGO Game Boy set to actually play some games. That’s exactly what the basic kit delivers, with a tiny circuit board, a Raspberry Pi Zero to boot and a few ports to play original cartridges or the emulated versions. With over €500,000 pouring in from Kickstarter backers, along came the Arcade Edition: a rather snazzy €89 add-on that essentially turns the whole lot into a miniature arcade cabinet.

Manual LEGO sorting has always been the barrier to endless building fun. Each piece requires one to look manually, make a decision and then drop into the right pile. Spencer is a software developer / engineer by trade, so he decides to roll up his sleeves and begin designing a machine that could change everything.

Matt Denton, a legend when it comes to transforming tiny models into full-size sit-ins, has spent years making the unthinkable a reality. His new creation, a monstrous version of the 1981 LEGO Technic Dune Buggy (8845), is no exception. What began as a simple kit of 174 plastic parts has been expanded to accommodate a large adult behind the wheel.

Grogu has a completely new wheel situation, and it’s as awesome as it gets – in LEGO form, with the 75403 Star Wars set. That’s right, Grogu has snuggled into his hover pram, the floating bassinet from The Mandalorian series that always appears to propel Grogu through his space escapades. Just released not too long ago, now is a great time for fans to pick one up for $49.99 (was $99.99) because it’s just in time for next year’s big screen chapter.
