Modeled similarly to Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA X1, the X2 adds “an 8.1 megapixel cam, flash, and what could be an extraordinarily usable keyboard.” You can also expect an updated panel interface, when it’s released. Continue reading for one more picture.

Well, when it rains, it pours, because a forum member over on fanklub.se has given up the goods in the form of a couple significantly better shots.

Sony expands its camera phone line with the impressive Sony Ericssion Satio. It features a 12.1-megapixel camera, microSD expansion card slot, a touchscreen display, and HSDPA connectivity. You’ll be able to purchase the Satio in select markets this October. Click here for first picture in gallery.

It’s been announced today that the Symbian-powered Idou unveiled at Mobile World Congress earlier this year will be coming to market as the “Satio.”

Thanks to “Remote Play”, Sony Ericsson Aino owners who also have a PlayStation 3 will be able to stream media directly to the phone. Other features include: an 8.1-megapixel camera, A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, and a microSD expansion slot. Expect this phone to hit shelves later this year — no word yet on pricing.

Aino also introduces Media Home, an application that pulls media content from Media Go on your PC over Wi-Fi to your phone automatically. Users just insert their Aino into its charging stand and it automatically synchronizes with all the latest media content on their PC.

Entry level phones don’t get much better than this. If you really want a stylish clamshell handset, Sony Ericsson’s T707 is the way to go. Featuring a rear camera that lets you “do things like silence a call or alarm by waving your hand over” it. Click here for first picture in gallery.

And one thing I have to give SE credit for is that they always make sure the UI design is fresh looking. the backend programming may essentially be the same, but they keep updating the visuals so as not to look stale.

The Sony Ericsson Idou just might give the iPhone a run for its money. Featuring “a 3.5-inch touch screen, an emphasis on entertainment, and — this feature isn’t the least bit iPhone-like — a 12.1-megapixel camera with flash.” Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

The Idou runs the next-generation open-source version of the Symbian OS, and part of an initiative Sony Ericsson calls “Entertainment Unlimited” — the details of which it was vague about, except to say that it represents “the true fusion of communication and entertainment.”

Sleek and stylish, the Sony Ericsson C510 combines form with functionality. Featuring a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, 3.2-megapixel camera, 160MB of internal memory, and a direct blog button. Click here for one more picture.

It doesn’t appear to be a huge jump from the K770 series, apart from a bigger screen and a bump up in internal memory.

Sony Ericsson phones don’t get much more stylish than this. If you really want to combine design with function, the Google Android powered P905 is the way to go. Featuring a large touchscreen and slide out keypad. No word yet on pricing or availability. Click here for more interesting cell phone concepts.

What makes the touchscreen P905 very interesting is that it proposes an Android platform, looks like a smooth iPhone but hosts a side-slider QWERTY keyboard.

For those who’ve been waiting to see what’s inside the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 box, look no further than this video preview. Just to recap, this Smartphone features a “528HMz processor with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM with a hardware 3D graphics accelerator.” Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

The X1 is a quad-band GSM device with market-specific 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS. Despite the full QWERTY and larger display, the device is only slightly larger than HTC’s Touch Diamond. It’s metal casing adds to the hefty but solid feel, and the keyboard slide mechanism feels fantastic.

Adrian Covert provides us with a hands-on look at Sony Ericsson’s $800 Xperia X1 Smartphone, which features a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, 3.2-megapixel camera, 528-MHz processor, 256MB RAM, and a PS3/PSP style interface. Click here for first picture in gallery.

To be blunt, the Xperia X1 isn’t quite up to snuff with the top smartphones in the market from an overall standpoint. Whether you’re talking about its $800 price tag, stylus-based resistive touchscreen or 3.2 MP camera, this is a phone that would have fared better amongst early adopters a year or two ago.
