Samsung Electronics just might be working on such a device, as they filed a design patent with The Hague International Design System on May 9, 2019 with 35 sketches that look just like a tablet that can fold away into your pocket when not in use.

Huawei MatePad Pro Tablet iPad Pro

Huawei is currently developing a tablet, allegedly called MatePad Pro, with a punch-hole display, and it will support the company’s smart magnetic keyboard as well as the M-Pen stylus. Unlike its predecessors, this model has slimmer bezels around the display, minus the fingerprint sensor, and in the back, there’s a pill-shaped camera module with dual sensors and an LED flash. IBM Patent Smartwatch Tablet Computer

IBM’s latest patent reveals an electronic device with a flexible display, but not just any smartwatch. This one is reported to have a multi-fold display that would enable you to also use it as a smartphone and tablet computer. That’s right, the patent is for a “variable display size for an electronic display device” and in its most compact form, looks like any other smartwatch. Need some more screen real estate? There’s seven auxiliary screen panels stored beneath the main screen, all of which can be taken out of the housing independently.
