The Witcher 4 Cinematic Trailer Unreal Engine 5
The Witcher 4 cinematic trailer, rendered in Unreal Engine 5, made its public debut at The Game Awards 2024. This game is the first installment of a new trilogy in The Witcher series, set after the events of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Geralt of Rivia is no longer the main protagonist, but rather his adoptive daughter, Ciri of Cintra. CD Projekt Red transitioned away from their own proprietary REDengine and developed this game using Unreal Engine 5. Not much is known about the plot, but the developers did aim to enhance gameplay flexibility by drawing on their experience with Cyberpunk 2077, specifically in aligning world exploration with improved continuity across main story missions, side quests, as well as open world activities. Availability has not yet been announced.
