Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!, a 3D platformer game, was first released in 1999 on the N64, PlayStation, Windows and Macintosh. Now, nearly 25-years later, one fan has spent 200-hours remaking the game in Unreal Engine 5.
If you’ve never played the game, it basically puts you in control of Buzz Lightyear as he goes across fifteen levels (ten main levels + five boss levels) inspired by locations from the film in order to rescue Woody. Level reDesign says that he will release a developer log on April 10th that documents his progress so far. Best of all, he says that more work is on the way, so we should see more of the game updated sooner than later.
