Zeebo Game Console Emulator Infuse
Sure, McDonald’s Chicken McNugget game console is weird, but Zeebo is one you probably never knew about. This 3G-enabled game console was released in Brazil and Mexico in 2009, touted as an entertainment machine that could also run educational applications. Developer Tuaxlity decided that more people should know about Zeebo and decided to create an emulator using Qualcomm’s BREW platform, which can be found running on many flip phones.

The current version of the Infuse emulator is built for x86_64 and aarch64 platforms, with support for macOS, GNU/Linux as well as Windows operating systems. Users can achieve full-speed Zeebo emulation on a MacBook Pro M1 with the non-optimized debug build. It was coded in a way that enables the emulator to be built as a fully native application on supported 32-bit ARM devices, allowing one to port it to the Nintendo 3DS without ARM emulation. There’s no word yet on when a public build will be available for download.

In related news, did you know the Zeebo did not use a disc system or cartridges? That’s right, all games and other content has to be downloaded wirelessly over broadband cellular networks. Unfortunately (or fortunately), Zeebo only got as far as announcing an agreement with AT&T in March 2010 before any type of console was released.
