All fans of the show probably remember “The Homer”, as it was a special car designed by Homer Simpson when his half-brother, Herb, gave Homer a job at Powell Motors. It’s basically a parody of the Edsel, a similarly disastrous vehicle produced by Ford Motor Company. Homer’s creation was such a monstrosity that cost so much to develop, complete with a sky high price tag, it put Herb out of business. Shortly after, Herb’s factory was purchased by Komatsu Motors.
