File this under: amazing minecraft creations. YouTube user roddds469 used the NASA terrain height map to create a "smaller-scale, 1,000-by-500 block test" replica of planet earth. Once he gets all the bugs worked out of this version, a full scale replica will be coming. Video after the break.

The terrain color and the Earth's weather are likely incorrect, as this was meant only to see if he could properly import the height map.
