Ever wonder how General Atomics’ MQ-1 Predator compares to the Spirit of St. Louis? As for the Spirit of St. Louis, this single-engine, single-seat, high-wing monopolane was first successfully flown by Charles Lindbergh on on May 20-21, 1927. That trip marked the first solo nonstop transatlantic flight from Long Island, New York to Paris France, in which Lindbergh won the $25,000 Orteig Prize.
