Yes, a seller is offering a fully-functional Apple Lisa 1 computer on eBay for a hefty $11,000. According to the seller, “the Lisa 1 is so rare because its original cost in 1983 was $10,000 US (approx. $21,000 in 2008 US dollars) making it a hard sell to businesses.” Auction page. Also, Apple offered a FREE upgrade to all Lisa 1 owners to a Lisa 2, taking back all Lisa 1 parts and having them destroyed/disposed of. Almost everybody went for the upgrade. This was a voluntary recall by Apple.
