That's right, a Nintendo World Championship NES cartridge has reached $1000 on eBay. The seller reports that the "game contacts have been cleaned prior to auction and the game has been tested in my toploader and is in working condition." Auction page. Click here for first picture in gallery.
The label is in really good shape except for the fact that it has lifted off of the spine and there is some slight yellowing around the edges. The cartridge is still glossy.[via eBay]
